The Tidewater Association For Early Childhood Education is a non-profit organization that provides support and training for Child-care and Elementary school teachers and children in the Tidewater area. Our organization is made up of early childhood educators that are dedicated to improving the quality of programs for children from birth through third grade.
It is our goal to facilitate enhancement in the professional practice and working conditions in the field of early childhood education by creating professional development opportunities
and resources. We also strive to set and
promote standards of professional practice, as well as to improve the public's understanding, support,
and funding of high quality programs in child care
centers and family child care homes. It is also our
goal to create public awareness of ideal standards of education for young children in order to assure their strong and healthy development.
